24 countries qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations alongside with Morroco (the host).
Ghana, four-time African champions, failed to qualify after finishing bottom of the Group F, missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2004.
There are 12 groups, with each group consisting of 4 teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the AFCON 2024 tournament including the host nation, Morocco. Altogether, the number of teams that will qualify for the AFCON group stages is 24.
