Diawise Taylor was born on January 1st 2000 and he plays as a striker for Egyptian club Future FC. Like many Ghanaian footballers, Taylor grew up in Berekum and he first started playing football for local club Berekum Arsenal as a teenager. After impressive performances, he earned a move to the Ghana League’s Karela United in 2018 before joining his current side, Future FC, in 2021.

Taylor’s professional football career in Ghana began in 2015. At the age of 15, the striker was playing for Berekum Arsenal in Ghana’s second tier. Following many standout performances as a youngster, Taylor earned a move to Bibiani Goldstars, where he scored 16 goals in his first full season.
As a result, top Ghana football association clubs chased the signature of this young star. Karela United were the side that signed Taylor in 2018 and he impressed further in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 23 goals in 52 appearances before moving to Future FC.

Taylor’s first dip into professional football came with Bibiani Gold Stars when he signed for the club in 2015. The young striker took to professional football smoothly and he notched 16 goals in his first season. But his accomplishments didn’t stop there as Taylor went on to score another 24 goals in his second season.
Karela United
Impressive performances caught the eye of Premier League team, Karela United. The Aiyinase based club signed Taylor for just GHS 30,000 in 2018 and, still aged just 18, the young striker wasted no time making an impression. He made his debut in March 2018 and a month later, the attacker scored his first Karela goal in a 3-0 win against Ebusua Dwarfs. Coincidentally, the goal was the fastest in Premier League history when Taylor hit the net after just 14 seconds.
Taylor gradually improved at Karela and scored four goals in his second season. Things really took off in the 2020/21 season, however, as Taylor went from strength to strength and he won the top scorer award for the season with 18 goals.
Future FC
Following an excellent final season at Karela, Taylor signed for Egyptian Premier League team Future FC. Despite plenty of promise, Taylor has not yet made his debut for the club. Although, at the age of just 21, the talented striker has plenty of time to work his way into the first team at Future FC and hopefully catch the eye of the Ghana senior national team.
